Nestled in the Canadian Maritimes, North Head on Grand Manan Island is a destination that captivates with its unspoiled beauty and rich maritime history. Upon arriving at North Head, I was immediately struck by the rugged coastline and dramatic cliffs that define the landscape. The panoramic views of the Bay of Fundy, and the picturesque Swallowtail Lighthouse, a historic beacon that has guided countless vessels through these treacherous waters the Lighthouse was the first landmark we passed on our arrival aboard the Ferry from Blacks Harbour in New Brunswick.
