Lower Falls of The Grand Canyon Of Yellowstone

Yellowstone Falls

One of the beautiful sights in Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. This is the lower falls. Lower Yellowstone Falls is the largest volume waterfall in the Rocky Mountains of the United States. These falls are 308 feet (94 m) high, or nearly twice as high as Niagara Falls. To give you a sense of scale, in the bottom left corner of this shot is a small viewing area with a person standing there. On the right-hand side of the brink of the falls is another viewing area with about 20 or so people viewing the falls.

Thanks for stopping!
