One of my most favorite finds is a vacant house on old Route 30 heading into Gettysburg, we have passed this place many times on our way to the battlefield.
Each time it is hard not to stop and try to get a new vantage point of this great old house, this time I happened to have my infrared gear with me, so I thought I would try something different and shoot some IR or this great urbex location. It was a really bright sunny day with perfect fluffy clouds, great for IR work and a nice pit stop on the way to Gettysburg.
Thought I would take a break from Moab until next week. Thanks for looking.
Have a great weekend!

17 May 2013Very cool infrared Mike. Love the details. I have only been to Gettysburg once and it was in a driving rain. Thank God for the tour on CD to keep us entertained. Wish I was able to shoot there.

17 May 2013Nice find, Mike. I’m going to have to keep my eye out for this place next time I am in the area. Love the way the IR has enhanced the brickwork and created a wonderful contrast to the stark vegetation.

20 May 2013What a great shot, Mike. Love this in IR. That sky is awesome as well.
Where is this house anyhow? This is an hour’s drive for me and I would certainly visit and grab a few frames.
