A shot of the Washington Monument from the Tidal Basin during my trip into DC to see the blossoms in peak bloom earlier this year. The trip was kind of a bust as I got word my cousin passed away the on my walk to the train into town from my room on my arrival day. That pretty much sucked the photographic mojo I had hoped for out of my head. But I was there so I had to make the best of the situation and did wander around the town for a few shots. The amount of people in DC during the Cherry Blossom Festival is CRAZY. The following morning I was set to meet Jimmy Jones for some sunrise shooting but that was a rainout as well, so we opted for a nice breakfast instead.
Thanks for Stopping!
