I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday! Sorry I have been non-existent lately, I had a nice little project fall into my lap right at Thanksgiving and had to tune up my product photography skills, always fun!
Today’s post is a shot from the beautiful courtyard of the Ponce De Léon Hotel, now commonly known as Flagler College located in St Augustine Florida.
This shot was captured on a beautiful St Augustine evening when I was snooping around with the tripod. This was a 9 exposure bracket on a cloudy night, the exposures were a bit long but not long enough to be a nuisance. The slight long exposures gave me the look and feel I wanted with the clouds that evening. The glow of the lights with the clouds made for an interesting look and feel to the image. The entrance and lobby to this once famous hotel is a work of art in itself.
This is a shot from a previous post of the entrance and lobby at Flagler, once Ponce De Léon Hotel built in 1988.
Thanks for stopping!

5 Dec 2012Nice work, Mike! The first shot has a somewhat unusual feel to it – I guess its the spooky looking clouds – that I really like. Great detail of both shots, too.
