Perkins Cove

 Perkins Cove Ogunquit Maine

Our second stop on our nXnw trip up the coast to Acadia on Saturday was Perkins Cove, Ogunquit Maine. As mentioned before the weather was really dreary, foggy and sometimes raining so we had to make the best of the situation again. This place is a great little stop, very scenic and like Rockport, has some quaint little shops and restaurants to visit, and of course Lobster.

This shot is technically not a panorama, I cropped it this way. I thought it told a great story and really gave a nice view of the Cove and the surrounding scene. I took this from the bridge that crosses over the Cove to the Riverside Hotel, pictured on the left.

Please click on the image to get a large view and scope 6 members of the nXnw Crew tearing it up on the right hand dock. Four are standing and two are kneeling down on the dock, six nXnw Pros in action at Perkins Cove.

Thanks for stopping!

  1. Really great Mike. I’m a fan of the pano-via-cropping method, and used it many times myself.

  2. Love the composition and crop, Mike. Really nice image.

  3. Terrific shot Mike. The crop takes the dreary sky out of the image and focuses on all of the important parts.
