Another sweet location Dave Wilson and I had a chance to visit was the Pedernales State Park. This State Park is also located in the Texas Hill Country between Johnson City and Dripping Springs. It was a gray drizzly day but we had a great day there regardless, doing allot of long exposure work. The Falls area is quite a unique landscape with several areas of rushing water and really cool stone formations that have eroded with time. There are two pictures posted at the entrance to the falls trail, one showing a nice serene scene like I shot above, the second shot is a raging wall of water like a levy or dam gave way. There is also a caption that the two photographs were taken less than 5 minutes apart. Due to the nature of flash floods in the area several deaths have occurred in the park. Warning sirens have been installed in the park and along the river.
Thanks for Stopping!
