Nubble Lighthouse, York Maine
Located on Cape Neddick in York Maine is the Nubble Lighthouse, also known as the Cape Neddick Light. This was a dreary day for the NxNW crew as we made our way up the coast to Acadia National Park. We fought off drizzle, fog and some rain most of the day on all of our stops. Most of the crew pulled out filters for long exposure and B&W work since the weather was not cooperating but we all made do with what we had and went on from there. Construction began in 1879 and is one of the last 8 Lights in Maine that still have t’s Fresnel Lens
The area had lot’s of rocky outcropping’s all along the cape that made for some nice long exposure work, this is one I liked quite well when it was all said and done.
Thanks for stopping!

24 Oct 2014Great composition and love the long exposure effect on the water – kind of dreamy, but yet dreary. Good stuff Wiz!
