We spent last weekend on the shores of Lake Erie at a great Bed and Breakfast for a little weekend getaway, Jack and Marilyn were great hosts. The best thing was that their house was right on the lake and about a block away from the Marblehead Lighthouse, nothing like a short walk to a great sunrise! Their backyard was like a postcard, picture-perfect view of the lake.
The Express and I were the first to arrive at the Lighthouse Saturday morning, as the sun got closer to the horizon more and more people started to show up, and unfortunately, the colors started to fade. So this shot, about 30 minutes prior to sunrise was about the best I could get that morning before the colors started to fade and people started to congregate.
Starting a morning at a place like this is awesome, the colors, the waves crashing, very peaceful. Marblehead is a great place!
Thanks for stopping!
