The Beautiful Cathedral of Learning, Pittsburgh, the inside of this place is amazing and the students are lucky to be able to study and enjoy a structure like this on Campus. Shot last week with Rick McPeek.
A Pittsburgh landmark listed in the National Register of Historic Places is the centerpiece of the University of Pittsburgh’s main campus in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Standing at 535 feet, the 42-story Late Gothic Revival Cathedral is the tallest educational building in the Western hemisphere and the second tallest university building (fourth tallest educationally purposed building) in the world. It is also the second tallest gothic-styled building in the world.
Thanks for Looking!

18 Sep 2013Awesome shots Mike. While I love the grandness of the first shot there’s something about the interior image that just resonates with me. The shadows cast by the chairs just makes the shot.
