Emerald City

The Emerald City of Seattle Washington. This iconic view was taken on the 12th Avenue Bridge the first evening the NxNW crew was in Seattle. It was a great day exploring the city from Kerry Park to the Space Needle and ending up downtown for the sunset that evening. The sky was quite dramatic as the sunset, although Seattle is quite photogenic on it’s own the nice clouds made for a great scene, day one was complete, a great day of shooting with the group.

Thanks for Stopping!

  1. Lovely shot Mike. I was just in Seattle last week, but only for 1 night, as I was with the family returning from a monster summer holiday trip. So, I barely got any shots there – and didn’t have time to get to this spot. I love your treatment, really well done. Makes me want to go back already! LOL

  2. Suh-weeet! I’ve had a bit of trouble making my version come out the way I want. Maybe it’s time to revisit the project.

  3. Absolutely stunning Mike. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this view point and I love it.

  4. Love this! Would really like to get out here someday. Great shot!

  5. It has been years since I have been for an extended stay in Seattle. This is a terrific photo of the city Mike.

  6. I am a huge fan of cityscapes, and this one is truly crazy awesome!!!! LOVE it, Mike!
