Last week I got together with a great group of friends for our annual NxNW adventure. We chose the Utah area again and it did not disappoint. We started around the Moab area and then made our way into Hanksville for a few days. Our plans for the first morning changed a bit when we ran into a flooded roadway that made us go to plan B, but unfortunately, a few minutes later we ran across a motorist in trouble, stick in the mud trying to get to an outhouse in the wee hours of the morning. All our group vehicles were 4-wheel drive and Ricks had a winch so Rick did the recovery and then we were on our way.
We missed any chance for first light at this point so we made our way to Dead Horse Point. It was too late for sunrise but the views were incredible regardless.
Thanks for stopping
