Cool Caddy – 1957 Cadillac DeVille

Cool Caddy

This is definitely one of those beg to be photographed cars for sure, a 1957 Cadillac DeVille. I spotted this baby for sale at a business not far from my house and passed it a couple of times before deciding this is just way to cool not to photograph. The owner came out and wanted me to test drive it, as cool as it was and as much fun as it would be to own I told him I was there to shoot it. The asking price was $8,500.

The shark fin lines and curves on this beast gave this car character galore, a real cruiser. I swear the rear light assembly shown below looks like a face to me, so cool! The owner went on to show me some cool things on the car, the exhaust actually incorporated in the rear bumper on each side below the pair of taillights. In the middle of the two lights, just below them is a small button, press this button and the light assembly lifted for access to fill the gas tank.

A real cruiser that would be a great project for someone, Thanks for stopping!
