City Church-Gary Indiana
Est. 1926- Abandoned 1975. While the whole country was shutting down and taking drastic measures for the Coronavirus myself and several other photographers had a photo trip planned for Gary Indiana. On my drive over to Gary, the world started changing. During my 3.5 hour drive to Fort Wayne they had pretty much shut down all of college athletics, it was a very weird day and only got more bizarre through the weekend. One thing for sure, we had no problem with social distancing as we did not run across many people in the places that were on our list. One of the first was the City Methodist Church.
