We stopped at Portland Head Lighthouse on our way to Acadia National Park during our NxNW trip in 2014. While we there some unkind weather moved into the area putting the damper on shooting for a while. Going back through some files of the area I pulled this one out, kind of liked the foggy atmosphere and the moody look gave with the long exposure. I did not think any of these were usable as there was quite a bit of mist on the lens (some of which you can see in the photo) but regardless I thought it was an interesting view of the lighthouse and Portland Harbor. Hearing the foghorn was really cool as well.
Thanks for stopping
