While shooting the Capitol Building in downtown Austin Dave Wilson and I made our way a few blocks down Congress Ave. to have a look at the Bullock Texas State History Museum. The Giant Texas Star in front of the museum is frequently photographed so I had to point my camera at it as well since I was in town.
For a different look, I took out my new 11-24 for a cool perspective on the star and museum, getting pretty close to the star in the process. I am sure the museum would be a great visit but unfortunately, it was closed at the time and Dave and I were ready for a cold one.
Thanks for stopping!
