Bells Before Dawn

So it was still dark and very cold at Maroon Bells on the Rick Louie Fall Color Tour that cold morning back in October, we arrived way early for a good spot, the number of people close to sunrise is unbelievable at this spot. I think we got there around 3am or so to wait out the sunrise. In the meantime, several tried some light painting with the trees and such. With the groups of people growing by the minute and the problem with people shining lights, wearing headlamps and just plain old wandering around for a spot it was a hit miss ordeal to say the least.

I did manage to get one shot I liked, it is by far from perfect with noise and such but it does show what a beautiful early morning it was at the Bells just before daybreak, the starry sky was wondrful.
