Amicalola Falls

Amicalola Falls – Amicalola State Park, Georgia

Amicalola State Park is named after its spectacular 729-foot waterfall that’s the third-highest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River and the tallest in Georgia. This was one of our stops on our Georgia Waterfall adventure in May. The park’s name is derived from a Cherokee language word meaning “tumbling waters” and they were definitely tumbling.

Thanks for stopping
