“Son can you play me a memory I’m not really sure how it goes But it’s sad and it’s sweet And I knew it complete When I wore a younger man’s clothes… Sing us a song you’re the piano man Sing us a song tonight Well we’re all in the mood for a melody And you’ve got us feeling alright”
Back after a Holiday break of sorts, needed a bit of media downtime so I took a few days off but back on track now after a great Holiday season and back inside the abandoned old Larimer School on my outing with Brad Truxell in Pittsburgh PA. One old school room seemed to be the collection point for several old pianos in various states of decay. I liked how the light was shining through small parts of decaying boarded windows casting a nice glow on this old beast. A shame these are rotting away, but I am sure this piano has played a lot of tunes over the years.
I hope everyone has a great 2015! Have a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping!
