Shuttered

Shuttered- Formerly the Detroit General Motors Cadillac Stamping facility, now sitting idle in the city. Recent news indicates General Motors will be restructuring and possibly shutting as many as 5 plants. One of these plants is not far from where I live. Hopefully something will be done to prevent such closings, as much as I enjoy photographing these creepy abandoned places I really hate to see more jobs lost. Huge plants like this one left to deteriorate like they just shut off the machines and walked out, there were still uniforms in the dressing rooms when we explored this stamping plant, very creepy.

Thanks for Stopping!

Flow

Thursday our nXnw Crew explored the Middle Prong Trail near Treemont in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. The trail runs along the Lynn Camp Prong of the Middle Prong Little River, along the prong there are endless waterfalls and cascading water compositions. At the time the flow of water was quite heavy from what John Deas has seen in the past. This was a great little scene along the Prong.

Thanks for stopping
