Another shot inside the Lee Plaza Hotel in Detroit Michigan. This once ornate 15 story Hotel contained 220 one to four room apartments in it’s prime. In 1968 the city of Detroit turned the Hotel into a senior citizens’ complex which lasted through the 80’s when the Lee started to lose its residents. The building finally closed in 1997 and has been vacant since. Most of the ornate fixtures were stripped from the lee since it closed its doors back in the 90’s. This place was quite the workout, 15 stories of steps and no elevators to the top.
Thanks for Stopping!
