The Grand Canyon Caverns Inn, situated along historic Route 66 near Peach Springs, Arizona, offers a distinctive blend of mid-century Americana and subterranean adventure. Originally established in 1927, this classic roadside motel has evolved into a multifaceted destination encompassing a motel, RV park, campground, restaurants, and guided cavern tours. Located 200 feet below ground, the Cavern suite is touted as the world’s deepest, darkest, and quietest hotel room. It features two queen beds, a futon, a kitchenette, an RV-style bathroom, and a library of books and DVDs.

There was also an old gas station on the property that was quite photogenic.
