The Nave

Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Pittsburgh PA sits silently in the quiet suburb of Larimer. Time has not been kind to Help of Christians, which could accommodate up to 1,000 worshippers in the nave and balcony in its heyday in the ’50s and ’60s. I believe this structure was left to rot away around 2007 or thereabouts and since has been vandalized with all its stained glass stolen.

We visited this beauty last weekend on a photography trip and it did not disappoint. This shot was from the balcony overlooking the Nave.

Rodeo Fun

Rodeo Fun – Wimberley Rodeo

A couple more photographs from the annual Wimberley Rodeo in the Texas Hill Country. Dave Wilson and I spent the evening shooting the fun event. It was my first time at a real-life Rodeo and we had a great time. This is an annual event sponsored by the Wimberly VFW, its a great time for sure and the location and setup allow you to roam around and get some great angles of the action and some behind the scenes shots as well.

Thanks for stopping!
