Antares is a small community located north of Kingman on the historic segment of Route 66. It is best known for the classic 1965 Rancheros Motel and the gigantic tiki head known as Giganticus Headicus. Gicanticus was a bit of a letdown and not very photogenic, so we explored the property of the Hackberry General Store in Antares. There is always something to photograph along Route 66.
